Necro is great fun, death magic and blood are really nice in pve situations, even curses can be a lot of fun. Mesmer can be tiresome, but it's got lots of rewards and some very cool spells. Monk is probably one of the most challenging pve classes, simply because if you don't do your job people die, then your party dies, then the mission fails. But then again for me it's the most rewarding, and ended up being my most successful char because of that control. I hate playing monk in pvp situations because they are targeted first, and that can be a pain.

Warrior is fairly fun for me, get in a bash stuff up close and personal, pvp warrior is often very enjoyable as you are often left to your own devices for a period of time. I find Rangers and Elementalists fairly boring, stand back unload damage, recharge unload more, yawn. But I am just getting into both classes so I am hoping for more

I love my monk.

I actually found Ele/Monk very easy to play, with almost unlimited mana, the abillity to do massive damage and heal is a great combination.

Friar Tuck, you have to take a secondary to be able to progress from pre-searing. The closest you can get to a pure necro is to just not put any points into Ele. You squib!

I have used the Necro/ Monk for about a month now. At times it can be really flustrating, but once you find the the right skill combo's you can take anything down. It has a long learning curve.

I can't really say I have a favorite. I've tried them all and really enjoyed each one.
